DNEVNIK.hr has published the official conclusions of structural engineers regarding the condition of the Vjesnik skyscraper following the fire. These conclusions were reached after monitoring and expert inspections conducted by the Croatian Centre for Earthquake Engineering. The conclusion states that the structure is unsafe and the building must be demolished due to the risk of collapse and to ensure traffic safety in the surrounding area. It was also announced that the demolition project will follow, along with the initiation of a contractor selection process. It was emphasized that the method of demolition will be defined in cooperation with experts.
